SMS Terms

Last updated October 21, 2026

1. The program

Reeve Inc. makes accounts receivable software for businesses. Businesses that use Reeve can send their own customers short text message (SMS) reminders about open and past-due invoices, and answer the replies (payment questions, a date the customer plans to pay). Every message names the business it comes from.

These are transactional billing messages only. Reeve never sends marketing or promotional texts.

2. How recipients opt in

Texts go only to people who gave the sending business their mobile number for billing communication, for example on a customer account, credit application, or onboarding form, and agreed to receive billing messages from that business.

  1. The business adds or confirms the customer's mobile number in Reeve.
  2. Before that number can be texted, the business confirms in Reeve that the customer agreed to receive billing texts. Reeve records who confirmed it and when.
  3. The first text identifies the business and explains how to opt out.

On getreeve.ai, people trying a Reeve demo can also ask for a sample text by entering their own number and tapping "Text me", next to this notice: "By tapping Text me you agree to get demo texts at this number. Reply STOP anytime."

3. What the messages look like

Hi Dana, this is Meridian Consulting via Reeve. Invoice #64981 for $4,150 was due Oct 1. Reply here with any questions or the date you plan to pay. Reply STOP to opt out.

4. Frequency and cost

  • Message frequency varies with your open invoices, typically a few messages per invoice per month.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • No texts are sent between 9pm and 8am in the recipient's time zone.

5. Opting out and help

  • Reply STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) at any time. You'll get one confirmation and no further texts.
  • Reply START to opt back in.
  • Reply HELP for help, or email hello@getreeve.ai.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, except the carrier and messaging providers needed to deliver the messages. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
